Angler is a seafood-focused Michelin-starred restaurant from Saison Hospitality on the Embarcadero waterfront, where every dish is touched by fire and intended to be shared. Each day’s menu is inspired by the products and ingredients we source, and is an articulation of their natural flavors, served at their peak. Our culinary methods are slow and deliberate, pausing to pay attention to all the little details that make good food great. All of our cooking revolves around open wood fire and a fireplace designed for our unique methodology, techniques, and tools for extracting the best tastes in our products. Along with our focus and passion for seafood, we source the best meat from our favorite ranchers and produce that is as local and sustainable as possible.

Angler Lunch, Happy Hour & Dinner Menu

We have an expansive cellar that reflects our deep passion for the classic wine regions of the world. The list features a particular emphasis on the wines of Burgundy as well as benchmark producers from our backyard in Napa and Sonoma. Through our close grower relationships and cellaring program, we offer an extensive selection of both young and mature wines from around the globe.

Just like the food, the bar program matches the ethos of exceptional product, fire and time. The list features carefully curated spirits from well-known and small-batched distillers alongside specially sourced selections that date back several decades.

Angler offers several spaces to host groups and private parties, all designed with the guest experience in mind. Our signature live fire cuisine and environment of refined comfort are ideal for both intimate gatherings and large receptions, with our team attending to every detail for an unforgettable event.

Our Game Room is a distinctive space with sweeping views of the San Francisco waterfront, providing both private and semi-private configurations for up to 50 guests.

For the ultimate social hour, our Lounge provides an intimate atmosphere for drinks, bites, and conversation, set against the backdrop of the Bay Bridge.

Whether you dine with us or invite us to cater an event at your home, office, or venue, our team will ensure an experience that embodies the Angler ethos.

For parties of 8 to 11 guests, we offer our signature Cook For You experience. This prix-fixe menu evolves daily and is curated especially for you by our culinary team upon your arrival. The menu is designed to be shared, highlighting both Angler classics and our latest seasonal dishes. This experience is $138 per person, exclusive of sales tax, service fee, & SF mandate. We also recommend our Wine Progression for $98 per person. Please note that we kindly request 48 hours of advance notice to try and accommodate dietary restrictions, or to craft a vegetarian or vegan menu. Due to the nature of our culinary processes, we are unable to provide a fully gluten-free menu nor omit trace amounts of mushrooms or alliums.
